2011 Review...

What a year 2011 has been! Our Best In Show winning superstar Otto celebrates one of his most successful show seasons yet, putting many new milestones onto his list of achievements. He proudly wins Dog Challenge at every Royal show he attended - Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne! At Sydney Royal Otto wins a very comeptitive Best of Breed and goes on to win his first Royal placing - Best In Group 4th in an entry of almost 500 Working Dogs! At the major Sydney International Shows Otto is well recognised by overseas judges, winning either Best In Group or Runner Up at County of Cumberland, North of the Harbour (both days), and Sydney Kennel Club. Finally, following on from his Best In Group win at last year's Dogs NSW Spring Fair, Otto goes one better, winning RUNNER UP BEST IN SHOW on Day 3 in an entry of over 1800 dogs! There were other BEST IN SHOW and many other In Group wins for Otto in 2011, finishing the year on over 2000 career Championship Points. We are so proud of our boy, whom this year we also became proud co-owners of!

We also welcomed Stella back to the ring, winning Multiple In Group and In Show awards on her return. Nina completes her Australian Championship Title, and we welcome Parker (Rustufarion Indelible Ink) to the family, arriving with a bang taking home Multiple Sweepstakes and In Group wins in the Baby and Minor Puppy classes.

On the Border Collie side of things, Marcus and Tyra took a break for the most of this year from showing whilst they went through their Junior growth stage, attending the Sydney Royal and BCC of NSW Championship shows. We welcomed Shiloh's third and final litter in July 2011, under unusual circumstances. The babies which resulted were a double surprise, as not only were they not from the sire we had originally planned, nor were the two picks of the litter of a colour we were expecting! Nevertheless, after much thought we decied that Denim (Tullaview The Devil In Denim) and Posh (Tullaview The Beez Kneez) were worth it, and they joined our show team later in the year. They began their show career with pleasing results, consistently placing in their classes and going on to many Baby of Breed awards between them. We look forward to their continued success as they go into the Puppy class in 2012.

2010 Review

Tullaview celebrated another fantastic year with our team in 2010. Our resident gentleman Otto continues to be a consistent performer in the Working Dog ring, being awarded Multiple Best In Group, Runner Up Best In Group, and more BEST IN SHOW and RUNNER UP BEST IN SHOW All Breeds awards. He finishes the year as the No. 7 in the NSW Working Dog Group and No. 18 in the group nationally.

Whilst Stella took a break from the ring to produce her first litter of pups, we welcomed the beautiful Nina to our home. She quickly proved herself a reliable show girl and consistent winner in the Puppy classes taking home Multiple Class In Group and Sweepstakes awards. At the time of her birthday on New Year's Eve, Nina was well over the requisite 100 points required for her Australia Championship Title, only requring a few more challenges in 2011 to qualify.

The year also saw Tullaview Border Collie make a return to the ring, with Marcus winning Multiple Class In Group awards as well as attaining his first points towards his title, having to beat more mature competition. Tyra also performs well, becoming a Multiple Class In Show winner at an All Breeds level, as well as winning her class at Specialties during the year.

2009 Review

Tullaview celebrated a great year with our team in 2009. Our resident gentleman Otto performed well to take home Multiple Best In Group, Runner Up Best In Group, Class In Show and another BEST IN SHOW award. He ended the year by attaining those last few points for his Grand Championship Title after being with us for just over 2 years.

Stella also does us proud, picking up more Class In Group awards, whilst also taking out Challenge and Best of Breed awards over more mature and well-awarded Pulis, including Otto on occasion! The highlight of Stella's year was winning Runner Up to Best of Breed at the Sydney Royal after only just moving up into the Intermediate class.

September saw Tullaview proudly welcome our second Border Collie litter from our beautiful girl Shiloh. In December we introduced our two youngsters from this litter, Marcus (Tullaview Take Your Mark) and Tyra (Tullaview Take It To Heart) to the ring and both have done us proud.

Shiloh also made a brief return to the ring at the beginning of the year to participate at the Second Australian Border Collie National, and pulled all stops on the day to take home 2nd in a large Intermediate Bitch class entry, despite not being shown for some months prior.

Last but certainly not least, in New Zealand Rita completed her NZ Championship Title just two weeks after her first birthday. She enjoyed a holiday from the ring for the best part of the winter whilst she matured and coated up.

2008 Review

We had a number of Australian Championship Titles to celebrate this year, with Shiloh, Stella and William all attaining this honour.

Otto has a great year, picking up Royal Challenges, Multiple Best In Group, BEST IN SHOW and Runner Up Best In Show (All Breeds) awards. During 2008, Otto has also accumulated over 500 points to finish the year over halfway to his Grand Championship!

Not to be outdone, newcomer Stella (Aust Ch Rustufarion Tell All) arrives with a bang, quickly picking up Minor, Puppy and Junior in Group wins. Stella also held her own against more mature  competition, winning Bitch Challenge at the Dogs NSW Spring Fair, and on other occasions Best of Breed over the boys. She accumulated 250 points from the Puppy classes.

March saw Tullaview very excitedly welcome our first Border Collie litter in almost 15 years! Although Shiloh only blessed us with two young hopefuls, both Thomas (Tullaview TooMuch Trouble) and Rita (Tullaview Tempt Me Twice At Glen-Clova (Exp NZ)), showed enormous potential. After picking up Multiple Class In Group and Class In Show awards as a Baby and Minor Puppy, it was with sadness that Tullaview suffered the loss of our special young boy Thomas to sudden and unexpected illness at just 7 months of age. He will be forever missed.

Yet, we continued to be delighted with reports of Rita. She made the trip across the Tasman to her new home in New Zealand with Sandra Carr & Warwick Fleming of Glen-Clova BC's. From her first outings she was a star, winning Reserve In Group Open Show awards from the Baby Puppy class, and then taking her first Challenge Certificate at 6 months of age. Rita clocked up 7 Challenges in 2008, on many occasions beating more mature Border Collies for Best of Breed or Runner Up honours. She is also a Class In Group and Class In Show winner!

2007 Review

Our charges continue to perform well. Puli Otto (Aust Ch Rustufarion Cyber Kaos), arrives in November 2007 and is awarded Multiple Best In Group and his first BEST IN SHOW awards by the year's end. Shiloh also takes home a Breed Specialty Reserve Challenge from the Junior class under breed specialist Lauren Somers. On a sadder note, in October we had to say goodbye to our special tricolour lady Sooty (Aust Ch Tullagale Sooty Wiskers).

2006 Review

Tullaview launch their website! In March, Tullagale changes back to our original prefix of Tullaview signifying a new partnership between mother and daughter; and in December we welcome the arrival of Shiloh (Tullacrest Devil InPrada), our first Border Collie in four years and after almost fifteen years since our last litter.
